Leunig, in this article sums how I feel at the moment, after my taking steps to increase my digital footprint..overwhelmed.

The Lost thing – finding voice where there is none (a germ of an idea for IWB activity)

The Lost thing - finding voice where there is none

This activity responds to the brief to create an IWB activity , using The Lost Thing as a prompt, and exploration.
Certainly further work would need to be done to develop this idea, but it is a good starting point to have a truly interactive lesson, and one that is rich in meaning making and understanding.

The class watches the short film for The Lost Thing.

The teacher goes to the above scene and guides a whole class discussion about the characters thoughts.  The teacher guides the students to brainstorm the thoughts and feelings of each of the characters and establish a mindmap.

Students break into small groups and provide a voice to one of the characters, describing what they are thinking at this particular moment.
